Summer PE

April 17, 2012

Emergency Medical Authorization

Depending on weather related school closings, the following dates may need to be adjusted.

Wednesday, June 6 through Friday, June 8, 2012 (3 days)

and Monday, June 11 through Friday, June 15, 2012 (5 days) 8:00am – 4:00pm

The completed medical form and the fee of $50.00 made payable to Newark Catholic High School are due by May 15th. Once these are received, your student will be enrolled in the course. After May 15th the fee will be $75.00.

In order for credit to be given, the student must meet The Ohio Department of Education requirement for Contact Hours for Minimum Standards for this course. Therefore, a student who is absent for more than one session (day) will no longer be eligible for the Summer PE Session. (Students who are excused for a day will be given written assignments that must be completed for the course credit to be given.)

Students will need to bring a sack lunch daily. It is suggested that students bring water jugs with ice. Be sure to put the student’s name on the lunch and on the water jug. Soda and snacks will be available through the vending machines during lunch.

Students should wear appropriate styled athletic clothes and shoes. No short shorts or tight fitting, tank style t-shirts are to be worn (shoulders and stomachs are to be covered).

If you have any questions, please contact the school.

You Can Now Print a Monthly School Calendar

February 10, 2012

We all know to check the NC website for the latest and most up-to-date School Calendar.

Now you can print a monthly view of the school calendar.  Just go to the school calendar webpage and click on the icon for “Print a Monthly Calendar”.  You can choose which month to print.

For best results, we suggest printing this in landscape mode.  But printing in normal portrait mode will also work.

We are providing this new feature for your convenience, but also remind you that the calendar gets updated from time-to-time, so please rely on the Online Calendar for the latest and greatest.
