Please join the Newark Catholic Football program on Saturday, July 28th for the Football Women’s Clinic hosted by the Newark Catholic football staff and players.


This event is designed for all past, present, future moms and women over the age of 18 who want to learn more about the great game of football. This is a great opportunity to have some fun while going through offensive, defensive and specialist drills. In addition, we will go through a series of agility drills designed to teach proper football mechanics.

2018 Baccalaureate Mass

Tuesday evening, May 22, 2018 during Baccalaureate Mass we had the privilege of giving thanks to our God for the many blessings received as we continue to pray together for God’s Grace for the Class of 2018 as they graduate and begin this new chapter of their lives.


After Mass, students and faculty gathered one last time to award superlatives and reminisce over on their years spent together at Newark Catholic. The Class of 2018 Graduation Ceremony is Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the Midland Theater, Newark, Ohio.


2018 Touch of Class Dinner & Auction set record breaking totals

This years Newark Catholic Dinner & Auction fundraiser, A Night At The Races was a huge success! There were 24 corporate table sponsors, and with a record breaking attendance of 358 guests, the school was able to raise over $115,000, which was the largest amount of money raised since the Auction started 34 years ago.


We would like to thank all of the attendees and corporate sponsors who supported the effort as well as the auction committee chairs and volunteers for the long hours of the hard work to make the Annual Touch of Class Auction an amazing event. A special thank you goes out to chairperson, Mrs. Heather Sherburn. Her leadership, enthusiasm and creativity, helped us set a new record in money raised.


Next year, the Annual Touch of Class Dinner & Auction will be held on April 27, 2019. Save the Date cards will be mailed with the theme in the late fall.


Final Exam Schedule

Honors Night at Newark Catholic High School held on May 17 served as a time to honor students who have performed exceptionally in academics, service and faith. Graduating seniors were lavished with accolades and scholarships as they prepare to transition into the world of the high school graduate.

A host of individuals, as well as community groups and organizations were on hand at the special event held annually to announce awards and scholarships they or their organizations had committed to students of the graduating class. In the end, the Class of 2018 received approximately $7.5 million in scholarships and grants.

Newark Catholic will hold its 61st Commencement Service on May 27 at the Midland Theater in downtown Newark, Ohio where 78 seniors will receive their high school diplomas.
