NCHS School Advisory Board Volunteers of the Year!

The NCHS Advisory Board would like to recognize the nominees for our first ever “NCHS Volunteer of the Year” award. There are so many in our community that put in countless hours and effort to help make the Newark catholic community “better together”. Thank you for all you do!
Please join us in congratulating our winners as well as our nominees! The awards will be officially presented during the NCHS Honors Ceremony on May 20th.
This year, the winners are Byron & Jill Bemis and Lianna Capretta!

Seeking Advancement Director Part-time

Newark Catholic High School is seeking a Part-time Advancement Director.


The Part-time Advancement Director provides leadership and vision for the key advancement areas of the school and is responsible for the planning, management, coordination, collaboration, and evaluation of the development, alumni relations, recruitment and enrollment management, and communications and marketing program.  The Advancement Director is responsible for developing strategy and implementing plans for advancing the school’s mission.  The position is expected to use personal judgment in carrying out routine duties and responsibilities.

37th Annual Touch of Class Auction – The Annual ‘Touch of Class’ Auction is Underway! Bidding is Open!

Newark Catholic High School is pleased to announce our 37th Annual Touch of Class Auction, which will be held virtually this year.  Bidding for Silent Auction items will be held April 21 – April 24, and the Grand Auction items will be live virtually on April 24 starting at 7:00 pm.


This event is the single largest fundraiser at Newark Catholic and helps offset tuition, maintain all aspects of the building, upgrade technology for the classrooms, and support faculty professional development.   Please visit our project website to learn more about our event.  Currently, on our project website, you are able to purchase raffle tickets, sponsorships and make cash donations.


To register as a bidder, please visit the project website and select the “Get Started” button found in the upper-righthand corner.  You will be directed to the auction page and need to select “Get Started” again.  The system will walk you through the registration process.  You can also view this video demonstration ( ).  Remember participation is FREE!  There is not a charge for admissions, so please consider making a cash donation to help us reach our matching fund’s goal of $35,000.


After you have registered, you will be able to preview the auction items.  We have several amazing gifts that will continue to be added up to Opening Day, April 21.   We hope that you will join us for this online event from April 21 – April 24!

Silent Online Auction: Opens today and closes April 24th at Noon. Register by scanning the QR code provided with the camera on your phone.
Live Grand Auction: April 24th. This Saturday! Auction Prelude starts at 6 pm. Live Grand Auction starts at 7 pm.
  •  Hosted by East Of The Bend! Gregg Shaffer and friends will be live to guide you through the Grand Auction. Join East of The Bend for the Auction Prelude at 6 pm. Gregg will review details of the evening and we have some very special guests coming to you live from our Auction Command Center. You’re not going to want to miss this segment! Live Auction starts at 7 pm
  • Grab Two Devices – Grab two devices for the Grand Auction on Saturday. One for bidding, and one for viewing. Bid from your phone and watch the live-streamed event on a larger screen via YouTube.

St. Francis De Sales for Parish families – Tuition Grant Form

From St. Francis De Sales for Parish families: In order for the Parish to include your family in the annual parish budget, we ask that each family completes this Tuition Grant Agreement Form prior to April 30th. Our Parish Fiscal Year begins July 1st and runs through June 30th. If a current Annual Offertory Commitment Form is not on file, one must be turned in with the completed Tuition Grant Agreement.

Cabaret & Arts Festival 2021

April 30 & May 1, doors open for Art Show viewing at 6:30 pm
Cabaret begins at 7:00 pm
Theme – Totally Awesome ’80’s
  • The 2021 Cabaret & Arts Festival will be limited to 150 people per night due to social distancing guidelines.
  • No tickets will be available at the door.
  • To ensure we follow safety protocols, you must have a ticket which can be provided through the school office starting April 26 (a free will donation can be made that evening but there is no cost for a ticket).
  • Participating students and their families will be given first priority and then will be sold as first come first served.
  • Open seating in bleachers, masks and proper social distancing must be followed.
