Colleges and Universities in Ohio offer scholarships throughout their fall application season. Go to “Student College Scholarships” to see what each university has to offer. One thing you will need to do to become eligible for need-based financial aid is create an FSA ID (Federal Student Aid ID). Click on the link that will take you to the site that generates this FSA ID – which consists of a username and password. This process replaces the FSA PIN. Only the owner of the FSA ID should create and use the account. The FAFSA is then completed in October of the senior year in high school, using the previous year’s tax information. The FAFSA has a tool that allows for simple migration of your tax information from the IRS to the FAFSA application. Scholarships are listed on the Senior Guidance Google Classroom page as they come in. It is the responsibility of the student to make sure they have applications complete prior to deadlines.
