Event Chairpersons Can Now Add & Edit Events, Shifts, & Tasks

The Newark Catholic Service Hours System was upgraded on May 3, 2014 to version 2.0.

 

This new version includes many new features, including the ability for Event Chairpersons and Office Staff to be able to create and update Events, Shifts, and Tasks.

 

There are two types of tools provided:

  • Batch-mode tool — For creating a series of repetitive shifts and tasks throughout the year.  This would be especially handy for Bingo and Cafeteria.
  • One-at-a-time tool — For creating and updating shifts that are not repetitive.  This would be handy especially for the Summer Festival and the Auction.  This would also be useful to edit specific shifts for Bingo and Cafeteria, once the set has been created for the year.
