Final Exam Study Guide, Part 1
Your final exam will cover all the literature and texts we’ve studied this semester, as well as important foundational things like literary terms, poetic devices, and writing/grammar conventions. Over the course of the next few days I will post study materials for:
-
The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet
- The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
-
Poetry
- The Lord of the Flies
-
Poetic Devices
-
Literary Terms
Here is the first one, to get you started.
Romeo & Juliet Final Exam 2015 Study Guide
My best advice for right now is to find all the materials and handouts that I gave you for each of these things and organize them. The truth is that you already have most of the materials you’ll need to study. I’ll post some additional Study Questions and any slideshows that I used in class.
You should expect to find some sort of sentence correction activities on the final, similar to the MUG Monday sentences we’ve done. You will also be expected to answer questions about both fiction and nonfiction selections that will appear on the test. I am still mulling an essay for the final exam; if I decide to use one, the prompt will be given this week and the essay will be turned in before your final.
We will start reviewing in class later this week.
