New York Times Poetry Pairing Essay

Essays are due Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:00 PM.  Late papers will not be accepted, and you will receive a zero for the assignment.  They will be submitted directly to my EssayTagger web site. They should be double-spaced throughout, justified, in twelve (12) point Times New Roman font, with one inch margins and 1/2 inch indents to start each paragraph. (This all assumes that you can do this in Google Docs/Drive, which I am not entirely sure about.) The only formats that this site can accept are .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .txt.

 

The following instructions are for submitting a document that you have typed on anything other than Google Drive.

1. Go to essaytagger.com/upload
2. Enter the code for the assignment: 9V6CA
3. Type your first and last name, choose your class period in “Section,” and click Submit.
4. Click Select Document on the next screen and find your essay from the window that will open, click on it, then click Open to upload it.
5. Check the Academic Integrity statement, then click submit.
6. The website will show you your uploaded paper. Verify that it is the one you wanted to submit, then close the window. Don’t be concerned if the formatting looks weird; I’ll be able to tell if you actually formatted it correctly.

The process is a little different if you’ve typed your document in Google Drive. 

1. Go to essaytagger.com/upload
2. Enter the code for the assignment: 9V6CA
3. Click “Sign in with Google Account.” This will take you to your Google Sign-In
4. Enter your email address and password as usual.
5. Click “Allow” on the next screen.
6. Read the info on the next screen to assure that you’ve entered the correct assignment code, and that the information is yours. Click “Yes, Continue.”
7. Select “Google Drive” on the next screen to find your document.
8. The website will show you your uploaded paper. Verify that it is the one you wanted to submit, then close the window.Select the document, check the Academic Integrity statement, then click submit.
