Ryan Aiello named new Football Head Coach

It is with great excitement that the Newark Catholic Athletic Department welcomes Ryan Aiello as the new Football Head Coach.
 
Coach Aiello grew up and graduated high school in northern Indiana.  He attending Ball State University where he continued his playing career as a defensive back.  After college, he transitioned into coaching at the college level, including assistant coach roles at Ball State, Anderson University, and Saint Joseph’s College.  Upon moving into the Columbus area, Coach Aiello began coaching as an assistant at Bishop Ready High School where he has been for the past three seasons.
 
Beginning in June 2018, Coach Aiello will be in the building as a full-time employee as he will be teaching Health & Wellness and Physical Education.
 
Ryan is married to Kali and has one step-daughter, Aubrey.
 
Coach Aiello brings a vast amount of football knowledge to Newark Catholic and we are excited for our kids to witness his passion and desire to continue on the outstanding traditions that are Newark Catholic Football!  Go Green!
