Turn your tax dollars into scholarships for Newark Catholic students, possibly even your own student! This page offers information about how you can give to the Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund. To receive scholarship dollars from Emmaus Road, you will apply in FACTS Grant & Aid before March 15. Families who express interest in applying will receive detailed information directly after they have enrolled with Newark Catholic.
Give and get back! It’s never been simpler to make a difference for a Newark Catholic student. By giving through Ohio’s Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO), the Emmaus Road Scholarship, dollar-for-dollar Ohio tax credit, you convert your tax dollars to scholarship dollars. Designate a scholarship to help Newark Catholic students and you get it back on your Ohio state taxes. This SGO allows you to earn a reduction of your tax liability of up to $750 individually and $1500 filing jointly. Why give it to the Ohio Department of Taxation when you have a choice to provide a scholarship in the same amount returned to your IT1040 line 10, Ohio taxes?
