Chaplain, Father Anish Thomas


Through his presence at the school each day, Fr. Anish builds relationships with students, guides them in their faith and helps draw them closer to Jesus through the Sacraments

After being ordained as a priest in 2014, he served in various roles throughout India, then came to the Diocese of Columbus in 2022. For the past three years, he served as Parochial Vicar at the Church of the Resurrection, New Albany. In addition to his role as Chaplain here, Fr. Anish serves as Parochial Vicar at St. Francis de Sales parish, Newark.

Campus Minister and Theology Teacher, Chris Grieb


Mr. Grieb is a 2003 graduate of Newark Catholic. In his role as campus minister, he leads students toward a deeper understanding of, and relationship with, Christ through all-school Masses, holy days of obligation and other significant feasts, retreats and more.

“We don’t just teach facts to be memorized but things students can apply every day to their lives,” says Mr. Grieb.

Mr. Grieb was named Catholic Man of the year in 2025 by the Catholic Men’s Luncheon Club. It’s an honor that underscores his commitment to living as a good and faithful servant.
