EdChoice

The Ohio Educational Choice (EdChoice) Scholarship Program provides students throughout the State of Ohio the opportunity to attend participating private schools for little to no cost regardless of residence. The traditional program was enacted in 2005, but has expanded to provide increased opportunities to all Ohio families with scholarships up to $8,408 for grades 9-12.

Families at 450% or below the Federal Poverty Guidelines are eligible for the full EdChoice scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year in grades 9-12. Families above 450% are eligible for a portion of the scholarship, dependent on their income and family size.

The Ohio Department of Education funds EdChoice Scholarships of $8,408 per year for high school students. For more information about EdChoice visit https://education.ohio.gov/Topics/Other-Resources/Scholarships/EdChoice-Scholarship.
