A Newark Catholic education stands for excellence, determination, and the drive to move confidently into the future.
Newark Catholic high school is a college-preparatory school, preparing students with a strong Catholic Christian anthropology/worldview. Students work across the curriculum in service learning with critical thinking infused as they examine academic content. The faith is lived and discussed in every course.
Newark Catholic provides a thorough, college-preparatory curriculum grounded in Catholic teaching and aligned with the State of Ohio’s learning standards. Our graduation requirements meet or exceed state expectations while challenging students to grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
Through a strong foundation of faith, academic excellence, character, and service, Newark Catholic prepares students not simply for graduation, but beyond; for college, careers, and lives of purpose.
Philosophy
At Newark Catholic, students are challenged to think critically, ask meaningful questions, solve problems, and apply what they learn beyond the classroom—building the confidence and skills needed to make thoughtful decisions and succeed in an ever-changing world.
Future Readiness
At Newark Catholic, our educational goals extend beyond graduation. We prepare students with the knowledge, critical-thinking skills, confidence, and independence needed to succeed in college, pursue meaningful careers, and confidently navigate life beyond NC.
Last year our graduating class earned more than $4,789,000 in academics and merit-based scholarships. The ratio of student to teacher is approximately 10:1.
