Robotics At Newark Catholic High School
Newark Catholic Robotics is committed to providing students with the opportunities to learn, play, and succeed through STEM education in order to better prepare them for the future. In accordance with the school’s rich tradition of excellence, students are challenged to surpass obstacles and pursue success.
This gives students an opportunity to be part of a team outside of other extracurricular activities. At meetings, students engage in engineering, coding, building and most importantly, troubleshooting and teamwork. In season, we compete in the First Tech Challenge, link below along with at least one other scrimmage prior to that to test our Robot. During the offseason, we are building a robotics program that will provide students an opportunity to learn more about the technical Engineering(Mechanical and Electrical) concepts that drive the technology behind these robots. This will better prepare us for the upcoming season.
