Newark Catholic High School Intervention
We support positive learning outcomes through classroom instruction support, Universal Design for Learning, testing accommodations, and specially designed instruction. Beyond academics, we care for the whole child—spiritual, academic, and social/emotional—using tiered interventions that foster growth and resilience.
We’re here to serve any student with ongoing, emergent, or temporary academic or other needs, as well as those with Diocesan Accommodation Plans (in lieu of 504), Diocesan Service Plans, or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

The intervention specialists go above and beyond at NC and genuinely care about each student “under their wing.” I know without a doubt they truly value my daughter. As a parent it makes me feel very blessed knowing that she has had such a wonderful support system the last four years. From the bottom of my heart, I thank these very special people for loving my daughter and believing in her!

SPICE
What is SPICE?
Special People in Catholic Education (SPICE) is a program to support the education of children with diverse needs in our Licking County parishes and schools. SPICE supports the teachers and staff in their philosophy that every child is special and all children should have access to a Catholic Education.
SPICE serves as a means to raise funds, to employ needed personnel, and to support the educational process in whatever area deemed necessary by our pastor or principal. SPICE brings about discussion and awareness necessary to embrace learning at all levels.
