Financial Aid (including EdChoice)
Numerous options for financial aid are available to help make a Newark Catholic education as affordable as possible.
Ohio EdChoice Scholarships
The Ohio Educational Choice (EdChoice) Scholarship Program provides students throughout the State of Ohio the opportunity to attend participating private schools for little to no cost regardless of residence. The traditional program was enacted in 2005, but has expanded to provide increased opportunities to all Ohio families with scholarships up to $8,408 for grades 9-12.

- Anyone can make a gift! Parents, grandparents, alumni, friends–anyone with a heart for making Catholic education accessible and affordable for Only Ohio residents will receive the tax credit, but out-of-state residents have the potential to realize a Federal tax savings for their contribution.
- No gift is too large or too small, but the Ohio tax credit is limited to $750 for an individual and $1,500 if married and filing jointly.
- Your gift can be directed to Newark Catholic High School, where any student can apply! Those who itemize may still claim additional charitable donations on state and federal taxes AND receive the Ohio tax credit.
