Shadow Day for 8th graders
A shadow day is an opportunity for eighth-grade students to spend the day at the school and experience firsthand what it’s like to be a member of the NC family. Students who shadow are paired with a Newark Catholic student for the day to attend classes, go to lunch, and get a true feel for student life at Newark Catholic.
We recommend that students shadow for the entire day to fully experience life at Newark Catholic; however, half days can be arranged at the request of a family.

Please allow us three school days to schedule a visit.
8th grade day for students at area Catholic primary schools
Each fall, we host 8th grade day for students from area Catholic primary schools. They spend the day at NC, tour the school and learn about student-life by seeing it in action. Students at schools that participate in 8th grade day will receive information from their school as their 8th grade day approaches.
